Cherish
Song by The Association. This arrangement moves through a number of emotions and energies, ending in an uplifting and hopeful tone. This performance captured @home during the "Quarantine Sessions".
Everything Must Change
A profoundly deep and reflective song by Benard Ighter, first recorded by Quincy Jones in 1974. This electric piano version pays tribute to the original sound and spirit of the piece. This performance captured @home during the "Quarantine Sessions".
The Christmas Song
One of my very favorite holiday tunes, made famous by the great Nat King Cole. I play about three or four different arrangements of this song - each in tribute to its composer, Mel Tormé.
Every Little Thing
She Does Is Magic
Here's my interpretation of this song by The Police. I particularly enjoyed exploring some new colors in the bridge and final choruses. This performance captured @home during the "Quarantine Sessions"
What a Wonderful World
A colorful interpretation of the well-known song made famous by Louis Armstrong. This performance recorded @home from the "Quarantine Sessions".
Nancy
My arrangement of a beautiful song made famous by Frank Sinatra. For fun, I put a little thematic element from J.S. Bach at the end.
Fields of Gold
Beautiful song by one of my favorite artists, Sting. This performance captured @home during the "Quarantine Sessions".
Blackbird
The famous song by The Beatles, reimagined Latin style with electric piano. This performance captured @home during the "Quarantine Sessions".
Imagine
For this version of the John Lennon classic, I replaced the major key of the song with its minor, resulting in a dark and brooding, introspective musical perspective. I'm not likely to play this one in a performance setting but thought it accurately resulted my feelings on this particular day about the COVID-19 crisis. This performance captured @home during the "Quarantine Sessions".
